During last week of September Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk had such activities:

• Seminar for working group on destination marketing (20 participants from 5 communities, business, science, citizens) (25 of September);
• Seminar for communities on rural tourism development, categorization and tourism services quality (2 communities and 36 participants) (28 of September);
• Round table deviated World Tourist Day (27 of September).

Most of our activities at national level were related to launching the Blue Book of Democracy.

As to our branch in Brasov, we had a lot of activities:

• From August we had a series of meetings each month in a village near Brasov (for the first time in history of the village)
• Also we have currently 13 projects in development. One is improvement of a local service and public policies regarding old city center. We had a public meeting in September. Due to the meeting we currently obtained money from county council in order to create a series of 7 fliers and a brochure for a better communication related to restoration of the old center. Also we have a project related to corruption and the public servants that announce an act of corruption. We manage to launch our brochure in a project related to improving the public relation service for 29 institutions. The brochure is posted on the site www.apd.ro .
• Also we had some public debates related to local decision projects - one with local association owners and one with NGOs in the field of sport and tourism.

Event name: "Green Playground"

Details about the event:
The main goal of the project was an environmental protection of new children playground in the Klokocina neighborhood in Nitra. To the planning process were involved local citizens from the neighborhood, leaders from Citizens Action and other partners (especially children from local kindergarten and their parents).
